Big players in today’s market are relentless when it comes to bashing each other in public, and Microsoft is probably the worst of them all. Not so long ago, they launched the Scroogled campaign, in which they’re trying to popularize the idea that Google is stealing your personal data in exchange for all the free services it offers.

The new initiative in this sort of childish campaign is to sell anti-Google merchandise on their online store, including mugs, caps and T-shirts.

Like we said, dissing your competition is an old habit, and a decent marketing stunt, but Microsoft needs to get more creative with it. The direction they’re headed, pretty soon they’ll be dropping bags of feces on Google’s porch. Not cool.
