Steve Wozniak is undoubtedly one of the most lovable figures of the industry. The co-founder of Apple is known for his innovative ideas which helped create the Apple brand, as well as for being a person which always says what’s on his mind. He enjoys using products from competing brands, and just as much, he likes to publicly speak and praise them as he sees fit.

During an interview with A New Domain, he was asked to share with the world his opinion regarding Windows Phone 7. Well, he didn’t really surprise anyone when he said that he considers WP as being visually superior to Android, claiming that there’s not even a contest between these to OSes.

Transition animations as well as the pure simplicity of the UI seemed to be the strong points that Woz fell in love with. On the other hand, he sees Android’s UI as being a lot more complex, and requires some prior knowledge on the behalf of the user.

In his classic humorist style, Steve Wozniak said that he thinks Microsoft hired someone from Apple to design certain apps, and even went so far as to say that there’s a big chance that Steve Jobs was reincarnated at Microsoft, since some things regarding Windows Phone reminds him of great Apple products.

Obviously, not all the interview was a praise to Microsoft’s OS – he stated that the lack of quality apps is a clear drawback, and also wishes for better voice integration like Android or iOS for either searching or typing. Still, it doesn’t seem to bother him that much, considering that he carries his Windows Phone everywhere. Although he didn’t exactly specify what WP handset he’s using, it’s probably the Lumia 900.

At the time of the interview, he was also using a Motorola DROID RAZR, a Galaxy Nexus, as well as his two iPhones (one on Verizon and the other on AT&T), which he claims are his main phones. The full audio interview can be listened by pressing the source link below.
