Last year the first model in the form of a relatively cheap Android phone(A60) was launched by Micromax. Now, according to some rumors the company has decided to release the succesor, being the new A70 with all of the specs having been posted online. It seems kind of obvious that its design was inspired by the Nexus One, especially the menu keys and trackball but it certainly looks a lot more attractive than the A60, and that's really all that counts.

More specs say that the handset runs on Android 2.2 and sports a 320 x 480 display, while supporting 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as well as packing a 5 MP camera on the back. The screen is a bit of a let down since it's a resistive one, but taking under consideration that the price is expected to be around Rs. 7000-8000, you can easily lower your standards. It would appear that Micromax is all set to board the Android train with both A70 and Bling 2 all ready and lined up.
