A new duo of smartphones made an appearance today at MWC 2014, this time courtesy of BlackBerry. The two handsets are the rumored Z3 (a.k.a. Jakarta) and Q20.

The Blackberry Z3 will be coming out to Indonesia in April (with other markets set to follow) and represents a full-touch smartphone which will be sold for under $200. This product marks the first collaboration between BlackBerry and Foxconn and definitely has the trademark look and feel of a BlackBerry.

It features a 5-inch screen, runs BB OS 10.2.1and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 chipset and 1.5GB of RAM. Internal storage is set at 8GB, but there's no info regarding a microSD card slot.

There's also a 5MP camera on the back, as well as a 1.1MP front snapper. Music lovers will be pleasantly surprised to find out that the Z3 also features an FM Radio, which very few smartphones have these days.

Moving on to the BlackBerry Q20 - this handset is codenamed Classic and with good reason. BlackBerry really went back to basics with this phone, and gave it a physical QWERTY keyboard as well as a trackpad. With the Q20, the company is trying to attract some of its core fans back and give them a handset they'll be productive with, sporting the best email service, the best keyboard experience and the best battery life possible.

This Classic phone will reach availability later this year, but there are no details available at this time.

In other BlackBerry related news, CEO John Chen announced that his company intends to release a couple of new high-end smartphones by the end of this year, but that it has no plans to launch any wearable devices, which are very popular lately.
