The specs aren't bad at all - 4.5 inch IPS HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP BSI rear camera, 8GB of on-board memory, and microSD card support. It will run Android ICS for the beginning, with an update to Jelly Bean scheduled for later this year.

Alongside the Ascend D Quad, Huawei will also launch the Ascend D Quad XL. Practically, it's identical to the first, other than the fact that it packs a larger battery (2,600 mAh), and as a consequence, it will be a bit thicker.

Apparently, Huawei hasn't decided yet on the prices of these two smartphones, but we'll bring you updates as soon as details arrive.
