We've been waiting for Motorola's Moto X flagship to reach the European continent for quite some time now. Happily, we can tell you that the wait is over, and the handset will go on sale on February 1.

The UK will be the first market to receive the Moto X, which will be made available across most important retailer - Phones4u, Carphone Warehouse, O2, Amazon and Techdata. Obviously, other European markets are set to follow.

If you're interested in purchasing a black version SIM-free Moto X, you should be ready to shell out £380. Naturally, you can also get it for free, as long as you're willing to sign a contract worth at least £25/month.

The black version will be easy to get, since all of the above mentioned retailers will have it, but if you have your eyes on the white model, there's no other choice but Phones4u, which inked a three-month exclusivity deal on it. The price tag is the same, nevertheless.

Unfortunately, Motorola's Android flagship comes to Europe without one of its key weapons - the cool Moto Maker, which would have allowed users to thoroughly customize their Moto X units, is apparently staying in the US.
