While doing our daily tour on the web, we came across this render of an yet unannounced Motorola Android smartphone, which our sources indicate that it might be the Motorola X Phone that we've been hearing about lately.

This handset is expected to break cover at Google I/O starting on May 15. We also got hold of a short description of the specs, but since there's no way to verify this info, we encourage you to take it with a pinch of salt.

Nevertheless, the Motorola X Phone is said to use a Snapdragon 800 chipset and a 4.7" 1280 x 768 resolution display, a massive 4000 mAh battery and Android Jelly Bean. When clicking on the image above, you might have noticed that the icons are stock Android.

In addition to all this, the X Phone could be IP57 certified (meaning water resistant up to a meter of water for as long as 30 minutes) and should be protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 screen. That's pretty much what we have until now, but we'll be back with something more tangible soon.
