The reason why NEC took a plunge from the top cellphone manufacturers is because over the past few years, their products are sold exclusively in Japan. Well, it looks like all this is about to change, since the company is prepping at least three devices for the MWC 2012 event in Barcelona.

We don't really know how to read Japanese, so the info that we've got to offer is scarce at the moment, but from the pictures we get that all three of them will be part of a MEDIAS lineup. The first one is advertised as being the ''Best Cloud Device'' and it sort of has a resemblance to the Sony Tablet P. The next one is ''Large Screen in One-hand'' while the last one is said to be ''The Most Stylish". Japanese don't really know what stylish means, considering how the latter handset looks. Still, we're ready to give them the benefit of the doubt a few days more, until we'll be able to personally check out these devices.
