New BlackBerry 10 low-end QWERTY handset leaks online

What's going on with BlackBerry is the question on many people's lips in this first half of the year. Although they started 2013 very confident, launching their new BlackBerry 10 platform, announcing the first two smartphones - Z10 and Q10 - which were expected to turn the ship around, the situation continues to remain grey.

Until now, only the Z10 found its way to the hands of the customers, and with moderate impact. The Q10 is still a month away from launch, while no other handset was announced up to this point. However, it seems like BlackBerry is readying a new device, which you can check out below:

For the time being, all we know is that it's called R-series, and will represent a low-end offering from the company. It has a full QWERTY keypad and a square touchscreen, as well as 8GB internal memory with microSD card slot and an 1,800mAh battery.

BlackBerry fans around the world are surely waiting for more from the company, and their patience is coming to an end with every new smartphones that's not impressive, with every new marketing campaign that doesn't work. Let's hope upcoming BB10 devices will bring a better future.
