Many voices doubted the success of Samsung's new Galaxy S III smartphone, putting the blame on either its design, hardware, or many other aspects. Well, here's another proof that the S III will surely represent a smash hit - Vodafone UK told our source that the smartphone is by far “the most pre-ordered Android device” in all of their history.

Although the network was reluctant to offer any exact numbers, it's obvious that there are a lot of customers eagerly waiting for Samsung's flagship. Vodafone offers the S III on various plans which you can check out here. If you're interested in getting it for free, you'll have to choose a monthly plan of at least £41, which also includes 2GB of mobile data and 100 free music tracks.

There are also other networks from which you can choose, such as O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three, so be sure to explore all of your options first. In the US, the Galaxy S III will also be released by the end of May via Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and most likely other smaller carriers.
