The new Android flagship from Samsung has reached India and we now have an official price tag for all you interested buyers.

The Galaxy S5 was shortly made available for sale on Saholic for INR 45,500 ($745 / €540), which translates in a little more than the orice of its predecessor when it first launched (the Galaxy S4 cost INR 41,500).

Since then, the price of the former flagship has dropped sharply to around INR 30,000 ($490/€355).

Update: the product page at Saholic has been pulled down, probably due to the fact that their stock has run out, but it should go back up quite soon. When it does, it should appear here.

The Galaxy S5 will be made available in Europe staring April, for an expected retail price of over €600.
