This highly anticipated device suffered many leaks these past few weeks but it would now appear that all the misleading rumors have come to an end. In a presentation by T-Mobile it was revealed that this Android smartphone is set to hit the shelves on 26 October. As you might know, the Samsung Hercules represents the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Just as the international Galaxy S II version, the Samsung Hercules should be based on the same hardware, meaning chipset, camera etc. However, it will reportedly come with a bigger 4.5'' Super AMOLED Plus screen as well as NFC capabilities and 42Mbps HSPA+. Obviously it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is expected to come with the latest UI customization - TouchWiz and Sense. T-Mobile failed to offer any information regarding the pricing for this handset but previous rumors suggest it will be somewhere in the range of $300 with a contract.

Where did you get that info from? All the rumors point to the end of next month and not October? I have even heard from a inside man at T-Mobile that it will be released next month.
