Samsung plans to sell 10 million Galaxy S III units by the end of July

Before the Samsung flagship was officially unveiled, we received some reports claiming that there were 9 million pre-orders for the smartphone, an impressive number which tops all records. The Galaxy S III has been available for more than a month now, and there's an overwhelming demand, since lots of countries and carriers are still waiting for this Android handset.

As a comparison, its predecessors, the Galaxy S sold in 24 million units, while the Galaxy S II did even better, with 28 million units being shipped.

We'll be back with official numbers for the S III soon.
