It’s true that Sony Ericsson has now become only Sony, but that doesn't mean that there aren't Sony Ericsson-branded smartphones which are still being launched around the globe. Such a handset is the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman, which just became available in India. Interested customers should be prepared to pay 14,549 INR (about $288), for which they'll get a handset equipped with a 3.2 inch HVGA scratch-resistant display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, dedicated Walkman button, Sony xLOUD technology, 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording, VGA front-facing snapper and a 1GHz single-core processor.

The handset will be available in either black or white. Retailers such as Let's Buy and Flipkart are already selling it. You should know that the SE Live with Walkman currently runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but an update 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is set to take place later this year.
