As of today, Sony's Android lineup has received two new smartphone additions. The first one is the Xperia T2 Ultra, representing a mid-range 6'' phablet, which is specifically designed for Asian and African markets, where it will have to take on the Samsung Galaxy Mega and similar devices.

The Xperia T2 Ultra sports quite the specs sheet - a 6.0-inch, 1280x720 resolution display with TRILUMINOS, Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 (Sony really likes these fancy words for displays), a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4Ghz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space expandable with microSD cards, a 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera on the back and a 1.1 megapixel Exmor R front snapper.

Keeping the juice flowing is a 3,000mAh battery with Sony's Battery STAMINA mode. You'll be able to purchase this phablet as a single SIM T2 Ultra or dual-SIM T2 Ultra dual, in three color options - black, white and purple.

Moving on to the Xperia E1, we come across a budget Android phone which seems to focus on the audio playback aspect. According to Sony, the loudspeaker on the back is capable of hitting 100dB, which should be enough to host your own private party.

We're happy to see that the E1 features a dedicated Walkman button (it's been a while since we saw one), as well as shake to shuffle and hardware buttons for controlling audio playback.

Whoever buys this handset will surely be impressed by these features, so the rest of specs aren't even that important - a 4.0-inch, 800x480 resolution display, dual-core, 1.2GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage space and microSD card slot for you to store all the music you want.

The Xperia E1 will also be available with single and dual-SIM options, in the same black, white and purple colors. Both of these smartphones run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
