Nokia E52: Very good like all Nokia Eseries phones

Camera and Connectivity

We're not going to talk too much about the camera, because there isn't much to say. Unfortunately, the 3 megapixel camera has only a LED flash and no autofocus, and can easily be referred to as a letdown. The image quality is rather decent considering that we're talking about a 3MP shooter and even the color rendering and contrast are ok. However, the dynamic range in not on par, noise levels are low and the sharpening algorithm is way too harsh and produces visible artifacts all around the photo. The things don't improve too much when talking about the video recording aspect. The handset manages VGA videos at 15 fps, which although isn't nearly a nice record, it still is better than what the E66 and E71 offered, so we have to appreciate any step forward, no matter how small.

It's time to give the E52 a bit of a morale booster and start talking about the connectivity options. As far as data transfer in question, the handset has it all: Bluetooth v2.0, USB v2.0, 3G, Wi-Fi and it doesn't stop here. The 3G also comes with HSPA support for the fastest network data transfer, meaning up to an impressive 10.2mbps downlink and 2Mbps uplink. Under the battery cover, you have your microSD card slot, ready to be filled. Also, the standard 3.5mm audio jack is present, and only if had TV-out functionality it could have aced this part.
